Applications

N/A Rustilo HL 01 has been specifically developed as an universal testing oil for hydraulic bucket type tappets and complies with the INA-Schaeffler specification N019025.

Rustilo HL 01 is also suitable for the protection of all types of delicate or highly finished engineering products, particularly those, which contain moving parts and cannot be protected with greasy film coatings.

The product can be applied by immersion and spray application.

  • Additional rust prevention through Vapor-corrosion-inhibitor. The maximum protection is achieved in hermetically closed environments, i.e. sealed PE-bags.
  • Contains no additives which inhibit the even distribution of oil and grease (e.g. silicone).
  • The protective film does not harden even long after the product has been applied.
  • Compatible with mineral oil and greases.
  • Shows very good filtering properties.

Storage and Handling

N/A To avoid product deterioration, keep the container/drum tightly sealed. Prevent any frost and water ingress. Store it in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. It is preferable to store the product indoors.

  • Influence of temperature may cause some cloudiness, which is reversible and doesn’t have an impact on product quality.
  • Storage and treatment tanks should be covered when not in use.
  • If required protective films of Rustilo HL 01 can easily be removed by using a petroleum solvent or alkaline process cleaner, all available from Castrol.
