Shell Gadus S3 V1000A 1 is a lithium-calcium grease based on high viscous mineral oils, containing antioxidants, rust inhibitors, EP and AW-additives. This grease has excellent adhesion and water resistance, extreme load carrying capacity and excellent mechanical stability in the presence of water or emulsion.

  • Shell Gadus S3 V1000A 1 is developed for lubrication of heavily loaded bearings operating at low speeds and under running conditions where they may be submitted to severe water spraying/flushing.
  • Continuous casting machines, support, intermediate and work rolls in tandem, trim, roughing, universal and pilger mills.
  • Shell Gadus S3 V1000A 1 is suitable for continuous casting where the bearing temperature is below 140 C.
  • Heavily loaded slow running swivel bearings and sliding bearings.
